MY
STORY

Known for her evocative compositions and commitment to emotional expression, Tullia Cairns embodies the essence of contemporary musical storytelling. Located in Sydney, Australia, Cairns channels her passion for music into creating harmonies and melodies that resonate deeply with listeners, aiming to foster profound connections through her work.

Currently pursuing a Bachelor of Music (Composition) at Sydney Conservatorium of Music, Cairns' journey into music began with a childhood fascination that has evolved into a dedicated pursuit of artistic excellence. Her compositions are characterised by their emotive power and focus on calming harmonies, inviting audiences into a world where every note tells a story of its own.

In 2024, Cairns was commissioned by NSW Legislative Parliament to create a piece for the Bicentennial of NSW Legislative Council. The piece, 'Acknowledgement of Country, Gadigal', was then also performed at the Bicentenary Exhibition Launch on 20 October, attended by His Majesty King Charles III, and at the Opening Ceremony for the 67th Commonwealth Parliamentary Conference in Sydney in November 2024,

highlighting her growing influence in the music scene. Along with these incredible events, Cairns was also commissioned by Leichhardt Espresso Chorus to craft a work adapting the classic 'Agnus Dei' in her own style, a piece which was then premiered in September of 2024.

Beyond composition, Cairns actively engages in performance and tutoring, enriching her musical perspective and contributing to the vibrant cultural tapestry of Sydney's music scene.
